NKURINGO PROPERTIES
We service two multi-award-winning properties in two locations for a strategic intimate stay in Entebbe when coming into or leaving Uganda and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, (Rushaga and Nkuringo trailheads, southern sector of the park) for the gorilla trekking experience.
Entebbe
Entebbe is the gateway to Uganda with the only International Airport in the country. So if you’re off your long flight or Uganda safari and want to freshen up before your next journey, Entebbe presents some fantastic choices of hotels. Here are our partner hotels in Entebbe near the airport.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest protects more than half of the last remaining 1060 mountain gorillas, making it a prime tourist attraction. Nkuringo Safaris books six exclusive safari lodges, including two exclusive ones located within the National Park boundaries and providing the best vantage point for mountain gorilla trekking excursions.
Kibale Forest
Kibale Forest is estimated to have more than 1,500 chimps with more than 50 chimpanzee troops. Kibale is the most accessible place on the continent to meet the wild chimps up-close, an experience that has attracted a healthy number of tourists to this part of the country. There are many accommodation options to chose from around the Kibale forest, but Nkuringo Safaris only deals with the best in the region that also keenly addresses COVIS-19 standards.
Queen Elizabeth N. Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park is the most popular safari destination in Uganda for family journeys, boasting the highest number of mammals and reptiles bird species in the Pearl of Africa. A boat safari on the Kazinga channel can show you many animals by the shores, and Kasenyi Plains claim the largest population of lions in the country. A good variety of safari accommodation camps and lodges exist in the northern and southern sections. Here are our partner properties around the park.
Murchison Falls
Murchison Falls National Park is a well known but relatively remote wildlife reserve in northwestern Uganda between Lake Albert and Lake Kyoga, bisected by the Victoria Nile. The Park is centred on a powerful Nile river waterfall, the Murchison Falls, and has a reasonable amount of wildlife. Uganda Safari accommodation in Murchison is a selection of budget, mid-range and luxury spread in either the north or southern parts of the park.
